OMG Dmo had half a year of good basketball and TJ had one year.

Both are not worth that money in the past... but the present is rather bleak for whoever pays the money

well, if he is consistent this season, he's well worth 15M

I could see DM signing both TJ and DMo to huge deals next year... AFTER he does some maneuvering to get a "third star". Consider he was willing to do this with Parsons if Bosh came.

He may have to renounce one to make the necessary moves to sign that third star.

But absent that happening... No way Morey does that. He'll overpay to complete his championship roster. He'll keep flexibility in pursuit of that roster base.

We'll see. Hope they both play like they're deserving of big raises.

    Thobias Harris : 4 years 64 mils.

    Ernes Kanter : max contract

Its totally normal for TJ to expect a 15 mils per contract.

Lawson gonna boost Jones' value in upcoming season. Not sure if it's a good thing long term if that makes us overpay for him.

Is this anything more than speculation?

    Jones at $15 million?

Not only is that twice what Ariza is being paid, but it is twice what Brewer was paid this past summer. It is about two and a half times more than Beverley was paid. I know big men typically get paid more, but it would be pretty debatable about Jones being twice as valuable as any of those guys.

Not only that, that is the same price we are paying for James Harden!

That's an article about the 2012 draft class extension and future contracts possibility.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a good thing? That way Morey can still match their offers if he feels like it as opposed to the players having the final say on where they want to go.

Yes, but you are forgetting something - Ariza's deal is a bargain - at least that's what we learnt this offseason. So you can't really compare it to what Jones is going to ask. Realistically, Ariza would probably get 12-15M if he was on the market TODAY. Carroll got 15M and I think Ariza is better than him.

This clown can't even get a decent playoff performance and gets killed by power forwards like Aldridge and Duncan. And he wants 15 million a year? LMAO
