Lowe is giving the nod to Lillard more so because the Blazers beat expectations by a bit while we did the opposite. John Wall is also better than Lillard and I'd imagine the same theme exists.

i like lowe but as best as i can tell he forgot the cleveland/detroit series in his playoff preview podcast as well, so maybe he's off his game.

Anyone else think he gave little reason why DJ should be a first teamer.

Best he could say is that DJ only has 6 FGA a game because teams fear the power slam on PnR so much, so stick to him. Nah, Lowe, he just has no shot so it's hard for him to get open for easy slams. Plus, he can't stay on the court due to FTs. He's playing with a first-teamer PG and 6 FGAs is the best he can do. And Lowe doesn't even have him a first team defense. Seems like Paul with several other centers would make for bigger threats that open up the rest of the offense more.

btw: I like Lowe, too. But DJ as a first-teamer needs more explanation.

    29pts, 7assists and 6rebounds.

Harden carries this team, there is a reason he leads the nba in minutes played, because no one is competent enough to run the offense when he is off the court.

I despise JB playing him for the entire second half, but who else is going to play and be some what productive besides him on this team

I can. This Rockets roster is virtually devoid of talent and is a dumpster fire. Lillard has C.J. F***ing McCollum. Allen Crabbe as well. Even Aminu is as good if not better than Ariza.

You would trade Dwight Howard for Aminu, Ariza for McCollum, and Bev for Crabbe?

Our defense and rebounding would drop off a cliff and our offense would not be much different than when Lawson was here.

Lilliard isn't the only reason for Portland's success but the Rockets have more talented players on paper. It's the team chemistry and coaching which holds us back more than anything.

Allen Crabbe is better than any guy we have coming off the bench, it's not even close.

Aminu would provide virtually the same production as Ariza does, and he's a much better rebounder and is far younger.

It's not that crazy and it doesn't reflect Harden's value to the team; it does reflect how profoundly disappointing this season has been to everyone, even non-fans.

My 6 guard spots would roughly as follows:

    1st:
    Curry
    Paul

    2nd:
    Westbrook
    Lowry

    3rd:
    Harden
    Butler
