I'm fine with that tbh, it's a very stacked class this year.

This is a very deep league and offense is insane right now,

Sengun is deserving, but so are a lot of others.

The title makes it seem like Lowe picked Fox over Sengun, but in reality he's saying Fox, Sengun, Towns, Gobert, Domantas Sabonis, Lauri Markkanen, Murray are all in the same tier and he's taking Fox over these other guys. And honestly, right now Sengun has not played at such a high level that you would expect him to be clearly above this group of players.

Not much to say except the west is loaded with talent.

I'm just happy he was so close already.

Of course because the seasoned eye would tell you the Coaches make the picks....

But journalists usually are the ones who would pick outsiders if they felt the need to......and give you an idea if a newcomer has a chance or not.

It is close so good chances he makes it next year if he keeps the stats up.....

He is on the Injury Reserve list! Should not be downplayed at all.

The chances of head coaches going against the grain and select a newcomer is slimmer ....and people have preferred guards over the likes of Markkanen and Towns ......

I would have dropped Paul George for another one of the guys on his short list. Kinda confused why he seems to be such a shoe in for a lot of writers.

It's tough. I can't argue with that. Sengun has been all-star worthy, but hard to argue with those ahead of him. I really think with all of the talent in the league, they need to increase the All-Star team to 15 spots. Maybe they will when they add 2 more teams.

Honestly, I am fine with it. He has been a little too up and down the last few weeks, so others getting in is probably the right choice.

I think the writers treat George like a shoe-in because he's flat out better than the guys that aren't shoe-ins when he's healthy. He's been healthy this season so far. I still don't trust the Clippers to stay healthy, but right now they have been playing the best basketball for a while now.

let’s not act like that’s even remotely controversial

Fox has the better team and has been the better player

    Better team? Absolutlely.

Better player? Very debatable. Fox has scored more points, but they average similar assists, Sengun grabs way more rebounds, has been more efficient, has a better VORP, and a lower defensive rating.

I guess I’d say it’s not an egregious choice, but I would argue that PG has actually been the clippers third best player this year behind Kawhi and Harden. Most metrics you look at would agree. (WS, BPM, VORP…)And I don’t think Harden should be an all star compared to the other close calls.

It's not debatable. To win this year I'm taking Fox over Sengun easily. Alpy is great but has a lot to figure out still.

Of course the 24-25 Lakers get 2 All-Star spots. Cause why not.

Kinda crazy that the Kings with a +0.7 point differential has a 5.5 game lead on the Rockets with a +1.0 point differential.
