Denver cable/dish providers don't carry Southwest. They carry Rocky Mountain. The way I understand it is ATT Sportsnet has multiple regions, and each region only delivers one. That's why I have a feeling Fubo will be forced to black it out, unless I VPN into Houston. :)

Yeah, I'll do the free trial, I guess. Was being lazy by asking, first.

well PSVue will no longer be offering streaming starting in January so I guess it's time to switch to FuboTV

All Rockets fans can cut the cord and watch all Rockets games, legally.
There just isn't an All-In-One provider for ATT Sportsnet SW Streaming together with ESPN/TNT/ABC Streaming.

Option for Local Houston Rockets Fans
    • FuboTV plus whatever streaming TV service you pick that has ESPN/TNT/ABC.
But NBALP when traveling...you can buy per game, now, fwiw.
Option for Rockets Fans outside the Fubo/ATT Sportsnet SW region
    • For me, being outside the ATT Sporstnet SW region (FuboTV won't work), I have to do NBALP plus a streaming TV Service with ESPN/TNT/ABC.
Price aside, those are the legal options, as I see it.

imo, this makes sense. ATT TV Now can't show Sportsnet, either. We can b**** at Xfinity, but FuboTV bought the streaming rights.

Since Xfinity doesn't have a streaming license with ATT Sportsnet SW, makes sense they are required to black you out outside your home WiFi/Cable Network. If you cut that cable and do XFinity "Instant TV" Streaming only, then you lose Sportsnet altogether.

No prob, I live 350+ miles away from Houston but am still under the AT&T Sportsnet SW umbrella so that's why I had to subscribe to a provider with it. NBA League Pass blacks out Rockets game for me since I'm under that RSN. If you live in Denver you may want to check what your local RSN is. If its not AT&T SW then you should probably go with NBA League Pass.

I’m pretty sure it’s region-specific. I would sometimes accidentally press another region in the sportsnet app when I had credentials for Houston (I’m in the Houston area), and it would say I was restricted. I’d imagine fuboTV has the same agreement in place except it’s in the fubo app.

If you go to the fubo website, it’ll show you what channels are available in the region you’re in. It’s in their home page and automatically populated. I saw ATT Sportsnet when I visited their site. You can also try the 7-day trial time see what you have access to. It does require a credit card, but they’ll send a reminder to you a day before your trial ends.

I've used Fubo before. It's cool if you're into other stuff like soccer but if all you want is the rockets games, then 55 bucks a month is kind of steep. You're probably better off not cutting the chord.

Get NBA League Pass and then purchase a VPN (about $3 a month) and the Rockets games won't be blacked out.
