Would have liked to see Sampson and McHale picking teams. They would pick players one by one, and then camera pans over to see Lin and Douglas as the last guys standing.

The concept of this seems familiar. Not only did this probably reflect Lin's own basketball journey, Nickelodeon Sports Theater with Shaq actually had a episode similar to this in 1998. It was called Four Points and the little kid was trying to make his school's team. They nicknamed him "inches".

It's amazing how people can turn a good thread into something sarcastic, facetious or to make a joke of. This vid was done with good intentions and I guess it's meaning goes over people's head.
