I'm still having a hard time believing this is real. It's possible. I remember seeing video of Christina Aguilera on star search when she was extremely young and her voice was very powerful. Almost unreal like this performance if indeed that was a real performance.
GOD! I am SO sick of every single new singer coming out and singing THIS song. Why is it always this r****ded song. I may start going to singing competitions just so I can start throwing eggs at the next person who sings this damn song.
I'm just thinking, if that was a lip-sync, then dang she's got some world class syncing talent. Because I kept looking for her to make a mistake or slip out of sync and it never happened.
Incredible voice and an unbelievable stage presence for a 15yr old. No way that was lip synched. Wow... supahstar.
didn't look lip synched. Her breathing didn't seem right for the stuff she was singing, so I was questioning it...but I think it's more that you're just not used to seeing someone so tiny singing such big notes. Seems real.
Has there ever been an Asian singer to hit it big on the American charts, male or female? I can't really think of one.
Whats up with all the damn bubbles? And not to mention all the interuptions by the judges or audience (cant tell) going "oooooooooooooooahahhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooooo!!!!"
Thats just how it is on Korean shows. Also, the same host, and most of the people on the show (aside from guests), are on about 4-5 different shows together. That oooooooaaaaahhhh sound has to be added on later, because I've heard the same darn thing track on several shows.
Ok, get ready, because I'm about to pontificate: As music teacher and voice instructor, videos like this drive me crazy. You know why kids voices don't sound like adult voices? BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO! This girl has a vocal instrument that is still developing. Your voice doesn't truly finish it's development until well into your teenage years (18-19 yrs old). A young singer should be taught technique. They should be taught breath control. They should not be taught to mimic the 30+ year-old singer who absolutely WAILS on this song. It does more harm than good to their vocal development, and greatly enhances the chance that they will damage their singing voice, perhaps permanently. Take bets that, by the time she's 25, this girl has very little voice left. [/SOAPBOX]
This girl is AMAZING.. She recently performed with her idol Celine Dion (Her lifelong dream) at MSG.
