Youth Sports League Recommendations

    you do realize the candy is for the purpose of helping the program for your kids right? why are you seemingly offended by it.

    To be honest it's the skill level. My boys are really just beginners and I've seen 1st hand how competitive AAU leagues are. I have a co-woker who coached it for a decade so I kinda know the demands that are placed on a kid.

    If my boys had better handles and can shoot a little better than I probably would consider it. At this point I think my boys would just be discouraged and probably not want to be in it. I'm not knocking on AAU because I think it's a great league, but I just don't think it's meant for my boys at this time.

    Gotcha. I was was thinking of throwingy my 6 year old with no experience in there. Good idea?

    I did the i9 sports for 2 of my kids and became a 1 day basketball sub coach. I coached our first victory and it felt great. Had a weird parent hovering over me pre-game then I busted his ass with a W.
