The Summit wasn't nicer, it was in a far better location that had ample parking. From the time you parked until the time you left it was about fun and basketball. TC is an ordeal, going there is not a pleasurable experience. Alcohol ruins sporting events for families, thats why I would never take family there or to the Busch Light Stadium where the Texans play. Just a bunch of angry drunks wondering around trying to start trouble. It's sad to me that this generation can't watch NBA for fun with their families. BTW I went to a top 3 party college in the early 2000's, Im not against alcohol nor would I normally say something about it. But I'd like to see family fun way more than what Ive seen over the last 15 years at TC or NRG stadium. For some reason Minute Maid field is the only pro stadium I like to go to now, once again, you see families there and people are there for the game.
Back on topic, sorry for the rant. You know your a Rockets fan when you thought Hakeem might be as good as Ralph Sampson his rookie year.
If you still wear your Olajuwon (Rocket Red) jersey and matching Rocket shorts, in which you purchased right after the Rockets won their first championship in 1994.
If you: 1) Don't watch the games and only check clutch reactions cause your blood pressure goes up/you are unsure if you're gonna jinx them. 2) Tell your girlfriend you want to go on a break during the rockets playoffs. 3) You saw a p*rn one time and thought the guy in it was Vernon Maxwell.
