What can I say about this UCLA star. He brought his great skills every night to the bench. I miss him alot.

I actually thought he was going to be a good pick up and thought he was going to turn out to be like Dino Radja.

Hey, they let me kiss the trophy once while I was putting down a deposit the day they signed Barkley. My one claim to Rockets fame.

    true story

Barkley was doing a photo shoot (or interview or something) and they brought out the two trophies (which resided on display behind the front desk). They were carrying them out, and I said..."Hey, you have to let me kiss it."

The first news I heard was that Horry broke it, but later everyone kept saying that Petruska broke it. Or at least that is how I think it went. Man, that was a long time ago

It was never really broken--the ball fell off the dais, or pedestal, or whatever it is. They just screwed it back on.

I remember him holding up his jersey at the press conference after the 1993 draft alongside Sam Cassell and Eric Riley. I saw that gleam in his eyes and could tell that he was destined for a long, prosperous career in the NBA.

"With the 46th pick in the 1993 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select out of UCLA, RICHARD PETRUSKA.".....Houston fans rejoice
