Car....yet another home-burned CD, with lots of blues on it (Mainly Albert Collins, Muddy Waters, Lightnin' Hopkins and Little Walter).

Home - The Band "The Band" (their 2nd release), Bob Marley "Rastaman Vibration", Nick Lowe "Impossible Bird", The Jam "Compact Snap", Johnny "Guitar" Watson - Greatest Hits

Not much different from last time.

Type O Negative - "Life is Killing Me"
Anthrax - "We've Come for you All"
    Turbonegro - "Scandinavian Leather"
Alice Cooper - "Billion Dollar Babies"

    Later this week:
Enuff Z Nuff - "Welcome to Blue Island"

I have no drive time to work right now. Kinda sucks. I only get to hear 1 or 2 songs usually.

Damn Manny, we have too much overlap on these things..

    Sigur Ros - ( )
Radiohead - Hail To The Thief
    U2 - War
Set Fire To The Flames - Sings Reign Rebuilder (this is a side project from Godspeed You Black Emperor)
Live Phish - Volume 11 - McNichols Sports Arena 11/17/97
    Stanley Jordan - Magic Touch
Miles Davis - In A Silent Way

By my count, that's 3 CD's we both are listening to right now..

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
    RHCP - By The Way

And whatever else piques my interest; recently, it's been Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American/self-titled/whatever they call it now. Plus a few assorted songs from random collections.

Jeff, don't you find that at first it just rocks to hear yourself or your band on such a great recording, but after the 50th time listening to the same song, it gets really old fast!? I've only been a part of 2 studio recordings but I've always had to take a week or so off from listening to them once the mixing was done in order to get a realistic opinion on how it sounds.

Hehe, 3finger, isn't "In a Silent Way" incredible? My favorite part is the middle of track two where Miles builds up the intensity with all the keyboard players with the guitar, drums, etc.

Is that the version with all the B-Sides?? I thought it was only available on cassette.

    Ditto.

I did get a kickass shirt from pre-ordering it early though, so that made it worth it.
