you gain 30 yards on first 3 runs.......and you call a spread play on 3rd and 2?

It's easy to focus on one play when it happens at a crucial time but the real problem is Fitz is killing the offense. Dallas has a good offense and the D did a great job. People will say Dallas' D played well when it was really bad Texans' O. They haven't improved since the beginning of the season. Fitz must be replaced for the team to take that next step.

he is not a franchise head coach yet

He may become one . .. but not yet

Franchise head coaches don't make that call on the 3rd and 2

    I am beginning to Agree

This game is the difference between a GAME MANAGER and a GAME CHANGER

That Romo to Dez throw . . .. letting Dez make a play
    I don't see Fitz even attempting that kind of a throw .. . .

    My problems with Fitz is
He does not seem to have alot of zip on the ball
    His placement is just decent
and he not even attempting the long ball

What's worse. . . there are several plays where he locked on one receiver the whole play
this is something a rookie does. . . not a 9 yr vet!!

I guess u could blame a lot of people for any lost.

But really, an amazing catch by Dez at the end is why we lost.

With that said, i would still like to see what mallet could do if started

It's not like there's a game thread or anything.

You need a QB that can do both (manage and changer). No zip and as someone mentioned in the game thread he doesn't have good touch either so what does that leave? No long ball leaves a smaller field to defend. Who could we get to replace him though...idk. Could Mallett be any worse?

Great job? No. Foster and Hopkins (2 Smith/ Kubiak guys) have been the only bright spots on offense.

But I will say that a head coach should get at least 2 yrs before we can judge.

i don't get it. you reward the offensive line and keep milking the hand or cow, whatever the saying is.
however, fitz had completed most of his passes since the comeback started in the 4th.

I'm not all that impressed by the QB guru coach Bob so far. He offense SUCKS. I know Fitz is garbage but coach Bob has to shoulder a lot of the blame at this point too. He decided to roll with a trash QB and its pathetic to watch when Arian is not being all world out there.

What's our record again? What was our record last with essentially the same team?

I suppose evaluating a first year head coach after 5 games and a winning record is sane thing to do.

Really the team hasn't played that well all season and still has a winning record. Seems like we should give some credit to the coach for that. I probably sound like a broken record but Fitz is holding us back.

Defense, special teams and Arian Foster are the main reasons we're 3-2.

The cowboys won on a catch that 99% of the rest of the NFL will live with everyday out of the week. You cant complain that much when THAT is the play that beats you. Now did we have some missed opportunities? Yes of course no game is perfect for any team , you give yourself a chance to win in the end and on the road, that is definitely a reason to be optimistic going forward i think

As soon as I saw Arian in motion a little I knew they were going for him again. Very idiotic playcall.
