this stresses me out just reading this. How long do they all plan to live there? Regardless, it sounds like you need to get out of there and give yourself a break.
We've lived together for about 5 years. If all of the sudden I suggest to her that I need some space, it's all going in the tank. For that, I'll just break it off cleanly. I'm not saying it's a bad suggestion, but that's something you set on the onset of a relationship. Not 5 years in.
That's the million dollar question. Granny's not moving out until she moves onto the next life. Daughter claims that she will get an apartment if she ever makes it to PA school, and her husband will move after daughter gets established. That's not a guarantee though. Looking like 2022 at the earliest. The son, He can't seem to keep a job. He is going to college rn though. Like I said, this is NOT what I signed up for.
4 bedroom 3 bath. Granny has one bath, daughter son have the LR BR. They are in the front part of the house. Son and us are in the back side of the house in the big rooms. We share a bathroom.
You might want to communicate with her about her being overly attached. It's also possible she senses a change in you and is trying to be closer to you because she's afraid you'll leave. Either that or she's also looking for an excuse to get out of the crazy shitshow of a home scenario that's happening now. Ya'll might as well be a sitcom. She has been extra nice to me. She see's I'm not happy. That stuff in the OP that I said I had no control over, that's the stuff I just dropped.

i mean, you do have control over it. you can kick them out, find a new girlfriend and be happier. it won't be easy, but you can do it.
