To make a long story short, I traded my ps3 for an xbox 360 on craigslist. The guy on CL lived an hour away and kept calling me to complete this trade. He gave me an xbox + $150 for my ps3. I wanted all cash, but I figured I could sell the 360 and buy a slim xbox 360.

I sold the 360 I received as part of the trade. Later on, the guy who I sold it to from CraigsList (CL) kept texting me saying I ripped him off because the xbox didn't work.

So, the guy I originally got the xbox from scammed me. I ignored this guy's text messages and phone calls because I was afraid that he would think I purposely scammed him. Later that night, I kid you not, I received nearly 50 text messages in a row, all from different numbers / area codes saying that I 'crossed the line'

I then immediately contacted the guy, explained to him, and then gave him a refund.

But I'm curious....how exactly did this guy get 50 numbers from all around the states to send me a threatening text message? Was it a coincidence, or was he really planning on jumping / killing me if i didn't give him a refund? What do you guys think?

So you thought ignoring him would somehow decrease the chances he thought you were scamming him?

    Did I read that correctly?

I will sign his number/e-mail up to weird fetish mailing lists so he gets bombed with lewd messages all day.

but what if his fetish is line crossing?

After all the working out you've done, I figured you'd be pretty swole by now and able to defend yourself?

You were clearly dealing with a well-connected individual that was about to swarm your house with an army. Good call.

We can't tell you if he was really planning to kill you, but we can asure you 50 threat texts are no coincidence.

Whats funny though is all those texters are probably people from a forum he's on. If not that, was the man hispanic? Maybe it was his brothers and sisters.
