Ok good post. But let's look at this from the Worrier's perspective. What can we anticipate they would do to "adjust" after getting blown out in game 2?

They know KD has been scoring a ton efficiently in games 1 and 2 but not distributing. Another poster mentioned game 3 to look for KD to facilitate more to get the others more involved.

I'm thinking if the Rockets maintain their game plan (let KD get his, cover others), and KD tries to facilitate more......then that would mean he's not scoring as much...yet others will still be covered by the same scheme by the Rockets.

Seems to me on the surface the Worriers will continue to be forced into letting KD score the lion's share of their points. What can the Worriers do differently to beat the Rockets?

#1 The Rockets need to do what the Cavs did when they beat the Warriors in the Finals and that is play very very physical and attack the Warriors in transition after the Warriors miss on long 3’s.
#2 Win the turnover battle and rebound battle. This allows the Rockets to get free points.
    #3 Defend on the perimeter.
#4 Continue to exploit Curry in one on one matchups.

I think Warriors will make adjustments on their defense plan and help their transition game, and I would like to see how CP3 and Harden counter.

Do the same stuff. We don't need to adjust to them, they need to adjust to us. What else can we do? Feed Capela in the post? Play Ryno? If we lose, fine, but at least we'll put in our best.

Let them run the offense through Durant. Keep finding Tucker and Ariza in the corners. Gordon, Harden and Paul need to play well and Capela needs to not be scared. He looked too timid in the last game against smaller guys. We need round 2 capela for the rest of this series.

    Agreed.

Also, when you move, you not only open up the offense, but you also get the defender to actually play defense. I think the TNT guys highlighted how, in game 1 when Harden was isoing, the players in the corner (Ariza, Tucker) weren't moving. They were essentially a rest stop for guys like Green and Durant.

Let Chris Paul handle the ball as much as possible.

More player movement and touches, shoot early in possession if possible. Play tougher D, No easy buckets. Always have hands in the face of shooters. Go Rockets!! H-Town Crazy!!

Start Ryno and let him run the court.

A couple of half-court shots and we're good.

    Simple as that. Ballgame.

actually Harden has a crazy court vision too, we just need him to walk the ball faster and initiate offense earlier.

True but Harden has also been mistake prone in the playoffs as well. He tries to do too much with the ball in his hands.

    Play with purpose.
Have a plan...push the ball for a good shot - dont just dribble the air out of it...

    Run as one.
Get everyone involved by moving the ball around.

    Utilize Clint correctly.
Dont switch him onto Curry - yes he got a steal, but most often Curry knows how to shield Clint from his shot and opens Clint up to potential foul calls...Do try to switch Clint onto KD whenever possible - Clint is about the only guy with the length to challenge KD on the outside and can still get a block from behind if KD goes around him.
On isos Clint needs to follow the iso player for rebound or dump off... he's been clearing out and staying out on many iso plays...
