I like what I've seen so far. Nice and simple.

The Rockets should just go ahead and release the uniforms to the public.

NBA Jam's graphics look pretty crappy. Also, those shorts are different from the ones Cat had on. There was some kind of silver or white trim on the bottom.

 

If thats basically what were looking at for the unis, then I'll take it. It definitly heads back in the direction of the old uniforms, which I always liked. I wish they would put Houston on the road uniforms, but thats not a huge deal.

 

I don't think the NBA suits would have that. Then people from outside Houston may not identify with (ie. buy) the new merch and we can't have that...

If that's the final uni, I like it much better than that gothic logo. Thanks for the thread, RJ.

On a side note, Yao has been mentioned for inclusion in the Guiness Book of World Records for the World's Largest Hands. His agent is talking to the publisher and hopes to get Yao an endorsement deal with Revlon for a new line of men's hand cream. They think it'll be a hit with the high school and college freshmen crowd. It might even be ideal for hands "like a baby's bottom". Said Yao's representative, "We know those young guys could use a new product... Vaseline has no class!"

More news as this develops.

However, GREAT catch with the unis image! Those gaming companies are SUPPOSED to not release that info until the team does. Looks like someone there will get into trouble.

Looks just like what we saw previously with Mobley but here we get a front view.

I like the look, but am surprised that the "R" logo is nowhere to be found on those unis, not even on the short. Perhaps it is supposed to be there and that uniform image is not totally updated.

Overall, the unis look pretty basic so other than being "underwhelmed" I can't see why anyone would have a problem with them.

They are better than what we have now for SURE! But I am not knocked out by them.

HOWEVER, I will reserve judgement until the official release by the Rockets.

 

Lets see how fast the Rockets scramble this time to try to get that picture removed.

i hope it looks better in reality..

such as..

darker color.. wider shoulders.. not too wide though.. and a better font.

 

i dont think the final product will look like that though
