just put the pipe down and take a couple of steps back from the monitor

    deep breaths

    :p

Yao is the best center in the league. 25 and 9...I would be complaining if we traded him

The only African-American centers that have the same stats as Yao:
    Brand, Amare, Duncan, Shaq.

You telling me no one will complain about trading these guys?

Your race card is getting really old. So STFU.

Don't think. It's not your best attribute. The fact that you actually believed that TNT report is laughable. JVG lost so much confidence that he proceeded to reinsert him back in the lineup after a few minutes rest. Give me a break.

If it is JVG or Yao, the club will send JVG out of the door in a second. You cannot replace Yao, but you can replace JVG with another decent coach. Maybe we need someone who can coach offense, just for a change.

errr....anyone that talks about trading Yao isn't b/c they think it will benefit the team but instead it will benefit Yao and the team he's going to. Majority of the Yao's fans want Yao out of Rox tbh.

Yao Ming will never win an NBA championship. The goal of the Rockets is to win a championship, not have the 2nd best or 3rd best statistical center in the league or make a lot of money. The guy kills us where it matters; defense. No team can make up for a liability like him. If we can improve our team by trading him, we would be dumb not to do it. However, this is unlikely because other teams are also aware of his flaws.

I'm guessing you made this thread in response to the trade T-Mac thread?

Are you kidding? Yao is a money making machine. And in a couple of years, Yao and TMac might even make it out of the first round.

Please stop the negativity! One game left at home where the Rockets have beaten the Jazz three games in a row. It is not like the Rockets are having a hard time against a crappy team. Utah is the third best team in the NBA at home. There is no way the Rockets will lose game 7. And if they do lose, all the changes you are shouting for will come.

Who cares if we make it out of the first round? The goal is to win a championship. Defense wins championships. Yao is the one of the worst starting defensive centers in the NBA right now. And for everyone who is calling him the best center in the NBA, news flash! In a couple of years, Stoudemire, Okafor, Howard, Oden, and Bynum will all be better than him. Scoring average doesn't exactly tell the story.

Yao +JVG for Lamar Odom + Luke Walton + Brian Cook + Phil Jackson and their 2nd round draft this year.

    I would pull the trigger.
