    This snippet is from Blinebury's article on Yao Ming scooped by Old School.

    "Yao wears a red string bracelet on his left forearm, one of a pair. The other is worn by Ye Li, his girlfriend and a member of the Chinese national team. Talk about your long-distance relationships. "

    I found this interesting as there's a thread a couple of days ago about Yao's girlfriend, did a search on sina.com and found a picture of Ye Li. She, as the article said, is a member of national team. 190 cm tall(about 6'3") and plays center. Click on the link to see her pic.
    She was in training in that picture.

    I think Yao said before he likes energetic girls with short hair. She looks like matching that preference. Talking about long distance relationship, hey the Comets are you guys listening?

    yeah i'd perfer under 5'7, but if she was that height wouldn't mind. I have no racial prefrence to girls. So i'm 100% non racist.:cool:

    She was withdrawn from Chinese Women NT because of injury. So the Asian Games will havn't any meaning to Ming because his girlfriend will not be there with Chinese Women NT. Poor Ming.;)

    yeah, she's not bad looking at all. Fairly comparable to Yao Ming in attractiveness, IMO.

    She's practicing tai-chi in that picture. Interesting. Is that with her teammates (past or present) or some other group, I wonder?

    I know Yao would go for that idea. I've had an overseas long-distance relationship, it sucks, sucks, and we broke up. (No sympathy please. :D) I wouldn't wish that on Ming.

    Can you imagine their kids, Yao and this gal? Yao's parents are no taller than 6'5" and Yao is 7'5". The Guiness Book of World Records would probably pay all wedding expenses for Yao and Ye Li just to see what sized kids they'd produce.

    Yaos dad is 6"10 and his mom is 6"3... I bet NBA teams are drooling over that prospect.. I can see it now on nbadraft.net. Top pick in 2020 is Yao Lee :D

    yeah poor ming. lol yeah right when ming comes here and the team takes him clubin, he gonna have some 1 night stands.
