    This is strange. According to the Mercury News, Yao Ming has gotten 6 inches shorter and is one of 4 finalists for buying the Warriors. They must have chopped off his legs, when they did the foot surgery.

    Awesome! Yao is retiring? As much as I love him, this would be the best case scenario for the Rockets.

    This is disconcerting to say the least. It seems like everytime we're waiting on news from Yao, the worst possible scenario comes to fruition.

    Always concerned about Yao and his injuries, but I think the key words here are bolded:

    The other two parties have not been identified, but one may be a group of Chinese buyers that has enlisted 7-footer Yao Ming, who appears to have seen his last NBA playing days.

    I Know what he's gonna do!
    Yao will retire, buy the team, make himself GM, as GM trade us Curry+6th overall pick for David Andersen and any other ridiculously lopsided trades to help us win, yao will then sell the team to Ellison, then "change his mind" and pull a michael jordan and resign with the rockets.

    Or Yao Ming steals Morey and Adelman away from the Rockets with a long term contract, sells the team to Ellison, then signs with the Warriors for the minimum.

    Rember Kevin McHale was the GM for the T-Wolves that gave his former team Garnett... oh and Jerry West giving the Lakers Pau Gasol.... Hmmmm.... I wish we could send him over to buy the Wizards and get us the #1 pick instead.

    Probably not much to worry about here. Reading that, it felt like the writer was more confused than me.
    But for the hell of it, let's say Yao did retire. Welcome to "the suck" for the next few years.
    And if you don't consider .500 ball bad, then oh well, welcome to paradise.
