It's time for the Houston Rockets to say goodbye to Yao Ming. He was great to the team and to the city but it's time to end this relationship. Nobody wants to let go of such a humble, unselfish, cash cow but if we want to start winning games it's time to move on.

Let Yao go. Start looking to draft a high caliber center.

It was time to say goodbye to Yao 2 years ago. The guy is 30, but has the hoops-miles of a 35 year old (maybe older). Add his size into the equation and all of the signs were there.

In fact with so many players coming into the league at an earlier age or in the case of the foreign players that have played for their national teams at an early age, I believe it is the rule that most of these guys will break down at an earlier age and teams need to take that into consideration.

When will we know the results of the test?

    Hopefully, sometime later today.

Last night I figured it might have been his foot, but since he is still with the team in Indiana, that leads me to believe that maybe it is really something small and minor....

If it was big, wouldn't they have brought him back to Houston?

Or maybe they know it is big, and there is no reason to rush things?

    UGH..so hard to figure out.

If he is done, thank him, honor him and at least we have a direction.

Yikes, a tendon straight huh... sounds worse than a strain or even a sprain.

yeah, that management is so tricky, they even managed to change the live clip that matches the rear ankle injury they're describing. They're so good, it's scary!

Yeah, he's done...there shouldn't be much question about that at this point. It's too bad he wasn't traded before...

I think it´s time for the management to realise that Yao´s problem is not his last surgery but his whole body not wanting any more.
Also Yao has to think what he wants for himself, maybe he can have a full career if he prepares himself to be a bench player, a situational player, such as how the Spurs used Robinson in his last years, mainly defense, only for moments, even when he started, he always left the game at the 2 minute mark, he only started because he was Robinson, Malik Rose was that team´s C (or Duncan).

I don't believe anything Morey says about the injury until we hear it from the doctors.

Morey also said Yao was healing nicely, all the while going for the Injury exception with the league.

We fans don't need to know...and he doesn't have to tell us....

Until they are certain of what it is....

Injury Exception? Doesnt that only apply for season ending injuries?

Yeah, I was talking about last year, when they said the bone was healing fine when they knew that he would be out and needed a complete overhaul of the foot.

In other words, don't listen to the spin doctors.

You don't think his body is compensating at all for his previous injuries?
