With the Wiz cleaning house under this proposed scenario, you guys really think they're going to want TMac back?

If anything, they'd go for a complete overhaul and start a youth movement. TMac brings nothing to the table with Jamison + Butler gone, and, with GA probably next on the way out

I had a sneaking suspicion that the Rockets would have to give up either Budinger, one of our young core, or a lottery pick in order to get Caron Butler away from the Wizards, and this only further confirms that suspicion.

Celtics won't trade Allen before the deadline. After the season,sure...but not before the deadline.Ainge has said he wont trade Allen unless its for a proven scorer.

Houston needs to finalize this three way deal.Washington can throw Miller to Houston, and New York can toss Hughes to Washington. Its works out under payroll. The extra player in the deal to Houston is the only thing holding it up.

Im sure Houston knows that. The question is,does Washington want to give Miller up?

If in fact the deal goes through...Haywood,Butler,and Miller. Houston could finish the regular season strong and very deep.Basically having another starting Five on the bench.hah.....this will be an interesting outcome.

Ray Allen is an unrestricted free agent who the Celtics believe might be too expensive to bring back. If they don't trade him, they'll probably lose him for nothing.

That's exactly what Dallas is trying to do by engaging in trade talks with Washington. Dallas always seems to be sniffing Morey's tracks and then pouncing on his prey with more money since Cuban is a much more extravagant spender than Les. Case in point, the Marcin Gortat situation. It pretty much threw Houston out of the trade talks and led to just Dallas and Orlando fighting over Gortat.

looks like the celtic deal was just a rumor. this is getting ridiculous. Pretty soon we'll hear Jesus is signing a 10 day.

Actually Cuban's interest in Butler appears to be legit. He more less said so yesterday from the NBA Fan Experience on ESPN radio. He was on 30 minutes with Randy Galloway. ESPN radio here in Dallas just reported that Dallas is in talks with Washington for Butler and Haywood. The proposed trade is Josh Howard + a small expiring contract to the Wiz for Butler & Haywood. ESPN is reporting from the NBA All-Star game HQ so maybe this is legit but who really knows?

We can and should beat that deal if we toss in buddinger or do the discussed 3 way with NY. also, we could take on Stevenson's contract, which Cuban apparently isn't offering

If the Mavs are able to pull this trade off, they should be able to match up well with the lakers. Butler gives them that two-three guard that they have always lacked (Josh Howard has proven to be a flop).

i predict mavs in finals vs cavs . i dont think kobes body will hold up,.(ps,dont you hate it when your typing next to someone who is typing loud ,I want to punch this old guy next to me)

kobe has reached that 1000 game curse. every player from hakeem to kg breaks down physically, no matter of age, once they reach 1000 games. there is documents on this but youll google it..

kobe has declined this yr even with his plast game heroics in some games.. he just isnt the same player as 5 yrs ago when he could get you 40+ for 10 straight games. we may never see a kobe vs lebron finals and i also think kobe will "back out" with a fake injury because he knows lebron will kill his lakers. done it twice this yr . kobe knows if lebron beats him in finals it will haunt his legacy forever. its better to "be injured" instead of "get embarassed by lebron"

Wojo: Butler is going to Dallas, but Wiz and Celts will continue to discuss a scaled down deal for Jamison, source says. Boston still interested.

Cavs and Celts will go head to head for Jamison, but sources say Cavs are very involved in talks for Amar'e Stoudemire

Edit: Doesn't solve the SG problem but maybe you get one back in return with him?
