Can he come this coming season? Does he have a contract that needs to be bought out?

At best a smaller Manu Ginobili and at worst a smaller Rudy Fernandez

Either way "smaller" I dont think he'll play for the Rockets. Maybe he'll end up as a player in a trade package.

Two more years on his euro contract with no buyout. Not coming to Houston this year at least.

We'll probably just add him to our list of Lior Eliyahu, Brad Newley, and Maarty Leunen.

Why is everyone so down on this guy? I think Rockets will let him stay overseas a year or two then bring him over. He's got a great skill set of passing and athleticism and doesn't turn it over. He's tall for a point guard and has experience playing professionally for two seasons.

Wait, what? Maybe this draft wasn't so bad after all.

Wow after a watching a video of this guy with a sick behind the back pass, a couple of nice dunks, some beautiful long range 3's and reading that he is a good defender and ball handler with a low turnover ratio it made me think we should trade Aaron Brooks to someone for a defensive big. Screw the stash theory let the guy develop here and by the end of the season we will have a great team, just watch the Rubio/Llull video on youtube he looks like a more offensive Rubio with slightly less polished passing/handling skills. I've read comparisons to a young Ginobli, Calderon, and watching him is exciting I say let him take over point, Brooks is relatively unexperienced anyways and would be more of a defensive liability.

Could develop into a good backup to Kyle Lowry in a few years.

I was thinking the same thing. He looks tougher and better ofensively and a better body for defense. Of course Rubio is the much better playmaker but this guy is not bad and has some playmaking skills. He has skills that look like will translate but also he seems to be a bit fearless.

Careful, we may have gotten the better Spanish pg in this draft after all.
