    I gurantee u Brooks will be as good if not better than martin in 3 seasons if placed on a team he can grow and not have to be the go to guy right away, Brooks will be top 10 shooting guard in 5 seasons guranteed.

    I dont think we can get Dalembert, but he would move us into the playoffs with or without Smith. We wouldnt get far but he should get us there.

    Looking at a few other conversations on the thread, we all love Chuck, but in tight games, down the stretch how many times did we see oposing big men just reach over him to get a board. This would be exacerbated in the playoffs.

    The smith deal would be nice but as others have mention the parts we have may not get it done for them... maybe some combination of Lowry, Lee, Bud, Hill, Pat may interest them. But I dont think anyone is a fan of loosing Lowry and Pat in one trade for one guy. Pat looks like he is going to be a really nice player for us and if we trade Lowry we would a large hole at point gaurd.

    If we got Smith I think all we need is a decent defensive center. I know people keep saying Asik... Who hasn't proved anything, but what if we found a way to get Varejao. I'm not sure how cheap we could get him, but lets say Clevland ends up getting Irving Kanter, I could see them looking to move him for the right pieces.

    With Lee Pat Dragic being for 6 7 8 guys could be a great lineup.

    I think Cleveland will go big with the #4 pick, no reason they don't try and move him.

    Is there any way we could set a feature in place to disallow any post that involves "3. Josh Smith", "SF: Josh Smith", and "Josh Smith play the SF"?

    I think alot of you guys overestimate Josh Smiths game. He is a great player and will be our best player if we get him, but you can't give up a package of carrol, dragic, and thabeet. You guys are crazy.

    Atlanta isn't a rebuilding team and is pretty set at SG and PF. The only way I see this going down is after the draft so Morey can make sure the pieces we trade away are put back together.

    We will have to give up Lowry because ATL has always wanted a good PG and never had one. Sad but true

    Morey than drafts Valanciunas or Motiejunas with #14 to be our starting C or backup

    Draft Darius Morris with #23


    Starting lineup looks like:

    PG: Dragic/Morris/Teague
    SG: Martin/Lee
    SF: Smith/Cbud/Williams
    PF: Scola/ PPat
    C: Lithuanian/Hayes/Thabeet

    That could be a playoff team.

    Exactly, Josh Smith is not going to make up for the offensive hole left by Martin or Scola, I'm willing to part Scola or Martin but not both.
