Thats a bunch of crock. Funny, there are haters everywhere, even in the Big Execs offices of the NBA. SMH
So not one player that ANY team has sent home, or agreed to part ways has come back and played that year? I would have thought it possible Lou, but once you agree to seperate, there is no going back. DD
If there's a GM dumb enough to sign Gilbert Arenas who had not played for a whole year to a 6 year, 111 mil contract, I wouldn't be surprised if Daryl Morey got a "reasonable" deal.
My main point about T-Mac playing pro basketball overseas is for the sake of him playing a lighter schedule. It's possible that it might apply to Yao for when his current NBA contract expires for that same reason.
Perhaps. I am not looking at history - just the situation. It's unlikely. I am just saying you can't rule out the possibility. The issue at hand was that T-mac wasn't back to his old self and the Rockets don't want T-mac at a fraction at what he was. They may not think he will ever get there - that's probably Adelman's thinking. If that's the case, his days here are certainly done. But...if he pulls it out, a big if but still crazier things have happened, and it's clear that his explosiveness is there..... You never know what will happen.
That trade has nothing to do with the McGrady situation it is 100% irrelevent to this discussion. We are talking about a player sent home, or agreeing to leave the franchise while they seek a trade. Let's work within an apples to apples comparison folks... DD
this is a smoke screen. They are trying to put pressure on Morey that no other NBA would trade for tmac. Therefore, morey if he panics will trade tmac away for cheap.
