Just thought I would point this out before it disappears. I doubt this was an accident. "All's Wells? With Bonzi and Rockets, we shall see" Yahoo NBA
steve kerr is afraid of the rockets.always has been. afraid we would have taken his championships away. because we would have!
Don't waste another brain minute on Steve, remember he played for the Spurs so obviously he'll find ways to diss the Rockets. Just like Mark Stein of the Mavericks,, never, ever forget the history of these news reporters!
I don't see why people keep bringing up if he would get enough ball? Yao & T-Mac only account for half of the team's points each night. The issue's never been about the quantity of shots outside of 111, but all those missed shots by the players supporting them.
Just remember this about Steve Kerr. He still has loyalties to the SPURS from his time there. And more importantly, Kerr is a PART OWNER of the SUNS. Keep those two things in mind as Kerr presents his "unbiased" NBA commentaries.
True, or you can read what he says and realize they have no basis in reality. His major "concern" with Bonzi fitting in is that he needs the ball too much and he is a "big time" scorer. Pretty funny for a guy who shoots the ball 9 times a game. Seriously - can you imagine how much that will hurt our offens by having a guy shoot the ball NINE times? Never mind that David Wesley shot the ball 9 times per game the year we made it to the playoffs...we are talking about BONZI WELLS and so his 9 per is larger. He also says Wells is a big time scorer...which is obvious from his career scoring average of 12.8 ppg...which is higher than Wesley's 12.9 ppg. Huh? Right.
Steve Kerr is not be taken seriously. If the Bulls were the team winning the titles instead of the Spurs he would have been kissing their a$$. I believe he will be eating enough crow this year since the Rockets in my mind will be hoisting a trophy come the end of June.
I don't think anyone ripped me off -- it's just a headline and a fairly common play on words -- but I can guarantee you that you didn't see it at Yahoo! before it was on ClutchFans. That's false.
