    how can you feel bad for a guy because he's not rich anymore?

    he should swallow his pride, declare bankruptcy, and become an assistant coach at some college so he can pay bills.

    nba should teach a class to draftees coming in,maybe the broke guys can come talk. and get paid for it..

    This only seems to happen to the knuckleheads.

    You'd never hear about someone smart like Shane Battier, Antawn Jamison or Dikembe Mutombo going bankrupt.

    Whenever I dream of having NBA player riches, I always think to myself that I would just invest like 80% of my money and then live off the interest.

    Well whether the business deals Coleman made were intelligent or not, this situation sounds totally different than the Antoine Walker debt.

    At lease Coleman lost the money trying to make business deals that would help his hometown. Walker lost all his money gambling. Walker even took on more debt from the casinos once his money was gone! Now that is a cautionary tale!
