The Bucks are in some serious financial trouble.

The Bucks are a team that is totally off my radar. The few times I've seen Joe Alexander he's looked clueless and helpless. I guess this action proves he must be a complete bust.

Is Joe Alexander that bad? Will Les give his b*stard son a second chance?

Bucks are so weird. They are statistically one of the worst when it comes to 1st round picks, but they are the best when it comes to 2nd rounders.

    This only illustrates that point.

Really??? Basically preliminarily waiving their 2008 lottery pick . . . all to save the whopping grand total of $2,763,600??? I just don't get it. It's not like they're going to save even $5-6M here.

The Bucks had BETTER either know he's garbage or be very confident that they can re-sign him for the league minimum.

Bima, he is that bad. He's a linear athlete without a position, no explosion or suddeness. I make it a point to watch 20 games a year of every team and I have seen zero from him when he does play.

Agree, I think they are in deep financial trouble and need to basically cut ties with anyone who they have the slightest question about.

An article from last season mentioned their gate takings from the season before was only enough to cover Redd's contract.

I don't think they have any intention of bringing him back.

The Warriors has also done a great job in that realm.

Arenas and Ellis are jewels in the rough and don't forget the non-draftee, Anthony Morrow.

He balls pretty good in 2k9, I always have him over Redd because Redd is useless unless he is hot. Didn't realize he was so bad irl.

He'll be restricted and could be a nice asset to help bolster a trade package...

Alexander (Francis TE) for Dorsey (Jefferson TE) + Pops (min exceptn, non-guaranteed) + Taylor/rights to Eliyahu

Joe alexander and c bud are essentially the same player. they both have the ability to stroke the three ball, and they can both climb the ladder and throw it down.

Uh no, Joe Alexander is a pure athlete with no basketball sense.

Sounds like something Clyde Drexler would say!
