I am at a friend's house in Houston and they have Xfinity. They are not tech savvy. I downloaded the ATT Sportsnet app seeing if i can get it working so they can access it when on the road, but it looks like Xfinity is not one of the associated cable providers.

To any of you that have Xfinity, is there a way to do what I am trying to do?

    Thanks

    Go buy a Roku?

    Or stream it illegally?

You can use the xfinity stream app, but you have to create a VPN on your home network so xfinity thinks you are on you are at home while watching. Some channels they don't allow you to access unless you are on your home network. The at&t stream app doesn't support xfinity customers.

    Thanks....

If I lived with them, I'd set all that up, but they'd screw something up and then I'd have to help from 1200 miles away. :)

This is crazy. I'm at work. I live in Albany NY. Game is blacked out on MLB tv. YouTube tv does not carry the YES network and my mlb extra innings is also blacked out. Because of your post i can watch the game. Must be the network address of this post.
    Sweet.

Nah... it's still going. They are playing until the Yankees get a hit.
