I liked Eddie in ECW, I liked him in WCW, and I liked him in the WWE. He was truly one of my favorites. I liked him more as a face than a heel, but he could fill both roles competently. Truly a huge loss.

    Rest in peace, Eddie.

This is terrible, Eddie was always fun to watch and a great wrestler. One of the best wrestlers in wwe. I was looking forward to the tripple threat match for Smackdown! Just makes me wish I could have seen his last match and would have gone to the last Houston Smackdown! R.I.P. Eddie. :(

This is terrible news. I was a pretty big fan of his.

I'll be interested in seeing my psychology teacher's take on this tomorrow morning in class. He's a HUGE wrestling fan and knows many wrestlers personally (He was telling us how Rhyno called him the other night to talk...and said he was sorry for interrupting his dinner). (He makes a wrestling board game called Legends of Wrestling Card Game, and another called Champions of the Galaxy)

I'm not sure if he knew.had a relationship with Eddie, but I'll be very interested in hearing his take.

here is the rundown of the conference from 411 Wrestling:

btw, add Hawk of LOD, Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor, British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, and Rick Rude to the list of wrestling talent that has past away recently.

Eddie Guerrero was the man. It's sad because it was very likely the WWE was gonna give him the championship while Batista was recovering from his current injury. He had tremendous charisma and would always play well to the fans, whether a heel or face. We've lost one of the greatest entertainers ever to grace the ring.

John Heidenreich, I believe. They have a new LOD gimmick going.

Hawk died a year or so ago.

Que en paz descanse Eddie. :(
    COMMENTARY:
The show must NOT go on. It is time for commercial moguls like Vince McMahon and other money-hungry operators to quit the show for at least one time to honor their fallen. Makes me sick that they use the "the show must go on because he would have wanted it that way" excuse to get some more bucks they can spare. I was just as mad when Owen Hart died DURING the show and it "went on"... sick.

^^^i see your point. but, if it were me, i'd like the show to "go on". i think that would be more of a tribute to me than stopping the show.

macalu, it is NOT hard to reschedule, postpone, or whatever.
I know it's neither you NOR me... but if you're about to have a huge celebration, and someone in your or my family passed, I bet we'd cancel it. My point? No respect.

read the spoilers for both Raw and Smackdown. Pretty emotional, its basically just matches, none of the storyline went forward and every match had something to do for Eddie. Benoit for the most emotional performer out there and even Dean Malenko came out after his match. Would've been great if Saturn came out too and they showed clips when they all came in to the WWE as the Radicalz.

Wasn't Guerrero scheduled to win the title on RAW tonight? I bet Batista killed him because of that...
