Don't tell me you think this is a quality 5 rating thread CLUTCH. If the trade is rumor to be going on, then this would be a 5 STAR thread. But since it's been created by a premature ejaculation fanboy, I don't think so.
If Yao weren't injury-prone I'd never do it...but considering that now every time he plays you're worried he'll go down with a season-ending injury, I think you have to at least consider it. Especially if it's a straight-up 1-for-1 trade.
So the pattern is whenever a star player goes off on us, we pontificate if we can get him for Yao. In other news, we won again.
they will never trade Yao for anyone. you trade Yao you trade away more than half of your fans worldwide.
you add paul to any team the ball movement stops. he reminds me of nash dribble dribble and did i say dribble. there is no offense when people dominate the ball like that
I felt safe about that until my girlfriend left me for a guy with more money. Anyways, I would do it. But I doubt New Orleans would want to do the trade.
Big man is more precious in the NBA. A good guard is the basic standard of a decent team, but a good low post player makes you a real contender. We have T-Mac, one of the best SG or SF, we have Rafer, who is becoming a decent PG, with dominant Yao back, we can destroy the league. With CP3 and T-Mac both on this team, rox may not rolling.
When Tracy was sulking early in the season, I had often wished we could have Chris Paul instead of him. New Orleans isn't going to trade for Chris Paul for either Tracy or Yao. They're better off keeping Chris Paul. When he is on like tonight, I believe he is the top point guard in the league.
Not for this team. Paul dominates the ball too much for a team like the Rockets. We might get away in the regular season, but adding him will only make us a worse playoff team. This is not to diss Paul as a good player, but he just doesn't fit the way the Rockets' is playing, ball movement, and play off the ball.
