Would for sure trade Dwight for him. Harden I would agonize over forever and most likely break down and end up doing it.
Nope!...Harden is just now entering his prime years. Perhaps if you ask that same question in 5-7yrs from now I'll give a different answer. ....... ....... .......
With Harden you know what you get. With Davis you are banking on potential. Personally I wouldn`t do it. Harden is a top 3 offensive player in the league and he is clutch. A player like that can lead you to a championship. Davis is a guy that will help your team in every way possible - but in this day and age he needs a star wing player to get a championship. And I am all for a little loyalty. How about sticking with the guy that gave Houston the best two seasons since the end of the Ming/McGrady era? He is durable, he is clutch, he is entertaining and he lured Dwight here. I am more than comfortable with him for the next 4 years.
If I am looking at what each player brings to a team, it would be a toss up for me. But for the way our team is currently configured, no question I would take the beard. We have DH who has proven in the past that he can be equally or better defensively than the Brow. TJ has also proven that on certain nights, he can be almost as effective as him. Bottom line, we have the players to somewhat simulate what Davis brings into the table but would be difficult to replace Harden's contribution.
Hell no, and lol at who says Davis is better than Harden right now. He has the big man effect but give it a few years then judge.
