I am not talking about prime Wade, the question is would you do it now?

I would. You take the best player in the game (by a huge margin) any time you have the chance

I might trade them for LeBron alone.

Imagine Daryl putting a team around LeBron. 2-3 titles minimum.

Never do it in real life, since Harden reps Houston and Dwight chose to come.

    Hypothetically?

At this point Wade is a black box. So you're basically trading Lebron for Harden/Dwight....

I don't do it unless I'm factoring in Morey wizardry + Lebron recruiting. Bron would be a way better fit for how McHale is using Harden. Bron can also fill the 4 spot if need be.

It's a difficult decision only because of Wade's health.

So... are Wade and Lebron up after this year? If Lebron verbally agrees to stay and I wind up with max cap space in the offseason then it's definitely something to ponder. If I'm stuck with Wade then hell no. It's all about Lebron. Morey can assemble the Avengers around Lebron.

No. But i might do it for Lebron solo. Don't want Wade's contract.

    You'd still have:

    Lin
    Wade
    Parsons
    LeBron
    Asik

    Lin + Parsons + Asik > Chalmers + Haslem + Bosh

This. You trade the whole roster for LeBron. Anything it takes to get LeBron. Morey would probably tell you the same. If you do not believe, please see 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Finals roster.

If you can guarantee me that Lebron signs an extension instead of leaving when free agency comes?

    Heck yes on talent.

That said, there's something that doesn't feel quite right about the idea of winning titles around LeBron if he jumps ship again.

Tough decision but I would have to say yes... mostly because Lebron and the supporting cast we already have.
