Can't be traded until March 3rd, 2020, which of course is after the deadline.

Ibaka got a sweet jumpshot and can fill in the role at the 5 for Capela. He is one of the most well rounded 4/5 in the league and an NBA champion. Why the heck elwould the Raps even consider that deal?

How did you feel about yourself when you said you were sick of Gordon taking a vacation 70% of the season?

No trade, that’s dumb. Ibaka might get bought out though. In which case you go for him.

Why on earth would Ibaka get bought out? Toronto is a top 5 EC team, and he’s on an expiring deal. How can somebody think Toronto would ever just buy him out?

Because other teams have to do whatever it takes to benefit our team. Like the Magic MUST trade Aaron Gordon to us because they have other big men on the roster. Don’t you know how it works?

It’s very early in the season. One injury to that team could cause them to nose dive. If Ibaka wants out and no teams are willing to trade for him, then they will look to buy him out.

Toronto is very deep. 1 injury won’t cause them to nosedive in the EC. The chances that Ibaka will want out and no team will be willing to trade for him are pretty much zero. If that’s what you’re banking on for an Ibaka buyout then that’s just a fantasy.

So is trading Gordon for him. Gordon isn’t tradable this season and Ibaka is in the final year of his contract.

There will be no major trades this season. I feel confident in saying that.

Why would we trade EG? He's our best & most consistent playoff performer. We can guarantee he's gonna be there come postseason
