I've been on team BB8 for a while now. His numbers other than steals are eerily similar to Ben Wallace pre Pistons. They both are very strong with really long arms. Ben blew up once he got consistent heavy minutes. I expect the same from BB8. Hopefully the Rocket don't star chase and go for the likes of Batum and BB8 to surround Harden with.
it has been a while since weve seen a player with shot blocking effectiveness like bismack in playoffs
I don't foresee us getting another chance to trade Dwight. But I loathe him and would trade him for Moochie Norris at this point.
Clint is that guy. If we aren't going to contend for a championship, let's develop our own youth. KJ McDaniels and Clint Capela need minutes.
Bismack started young. Feels like he's been bounced around for ages, yet he's only 23. That's very similar to what Capela could be... in 3 to 4 more years. If we want to take advantage of the Harden window, we get Bismack. We already gave Capela the minutes, and he's proved he isn't ready yet. He'll be the next big thing in 2018. But are we willing to wait?
The duo of Capela and Bismack will be probably be good for the team. Good role players without the superstar ego if the price is right at the time.
I'd like to have Biyombo on the Rockets! Have liked his game for a long time. He is strong, athletic, his defense has improved, he doesn't need touches and is a strong finisher. Above all, he is still young. He seems decisive, if he does in fact get the ball in the post. He has hit a few jumpers and is still young enough, to be able to improve in that area. Also, he can take it to the basket from pretty far out and has a soft touch, to finish contested layups (So he isn't limited to dunking only) As for your comment about double and triple teams - I don't see it happening, do you really see a team double and triple teaming him, when Harden is on the floor? And if in fact they did choose to do so, all the better!!
I do not think so, Dwight has a superstar ego with role player talent at the moment. His ego does not match his talent on the court.
If you don't add another legitimate leader and scorer with Harden then all you're doing is tying up $12-15/mil with a younger version of Dwight. That doesn't get the team anywhere but back on the mediocrity treadmill.
It says something when a guy like Bismack can impact the game more these playoffs than Dwight. Bismack gives all out effort and plays with heart. Dwight is lazy and is a quitter.
