Crap, shows how much I've been keeping track of THAT series lol. Honestly the only ones I've watched any of were the Rockets (duh) and the Cavs/Pacers. All the others either come on NBATV (which I don't currently have) or don't interest me much OR start hella late like 10pm CST on a Wednesday night. Thanks for the correction. And Capela is still kicking ass!
Both of them are the same player. But Thon Maker has more confidence in him. But I wouldn't trade Capela for him.
Love how Jopatholic employs some tangential mention of a Rockets player in a thread only so he can publicly fellate his flavor-of-the-month anointed savior. He may think it's clever, but it's embarrassingly obvious. Last time it was "Should we trade for Ricky Rubio?" -- mentioning the idea of a trade only so he can slobber over his fantasy point guard. This time it's "Would you trade Capela for Thon Maker?" -- not to talk about Capela, but to let us all know what a gigantic man-crush he has on Maker. It's time for the mods to force this crap to the Dish where it belongs, because everyone can see it's not really about the Rockets' roster.
Thon Maker will be an all time great barring injury, & if can play anywhere else but Milwaukee...think Garrett with unlimited range. Clint will also become better than DeAndre / Ibaka if he continues his progress. His footwork is great, and his coachability & ability to put into practice what he learned is a rare quality amongst young bigs. I like them both. Maker & Harden would be unstoppable...
Yes. ALL DAY. Capella is our weak point on the other end of the court where it matters in the playoffs. Been that way all season.
Maker has played great defense. I would never trade Capela for him. Capela is an elite roll man and a great rim protector. He's what we needed from Dwight.
If Thon Maker was on our team his stats would be way better. The bucks just don't know how to use him. He would be a stretch 5 for us.
