is there a like a version of underground mix tapes for game film. I've never even seen a video of mallet passing.
If the Texans had to do it over again...I mean from the draft onwards...I wonder if the Texans wouldve just acknowledged a rebuilding year: 1. Traded Andre Johnson to the Patriots for Mallet and 2015 3rd round pick( 2015 2nd rounder if AJ met certain milestones) 2. Try trading down with the Jags, and draft with the #3 pick Sammy Watkins 3. Drafted with the #1 pick of 2nd round Derrek Carr 4. Brought in Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mallet and Carr to compete for the QB spot since mini camp. yes I know its way too early to judge this class, but Andre Johnson had value this past offseason. This offseason, he is looking like a cap casualty...and that really makes me sick.
BTS: Hard to see him finishing his career here. Only way it happens is if they get the next Andrew Luck. Andre knows he's wasting his time, big picture, with this team and organization but he's under contract. You're just seeing that old frustration. (Role play) $16 mil for Houston or B) we cut you ($7 mil cap hit) but you won't make that $16 mil. You gotta go to another team. I thought the holdout did not work and it backfired. He had no leverage. The only way he and his camp get what they want, you gotta go to another team. At some point, they'll have to put pressure on or demand a trade. The only way it changes is if they get a QB they don't have or play true nasty agent hardball and get Andre off this team. Bob McNair wants him in a Texans uni. Andre is too polite to do anything to get kicked off or moved. They'll have to play hardball. If I'm Andre, whatever it takes, let me go but he's never done it in his career. He's got a lot of money. I don't know his financial situation but imagine he's doing okay. ... You can't walk back every time and then get frustrated. You have to suck it up, make less money and go play for a different team. He has to force the Texans hand.
