Sorry not buying it, being a professional athlete is a privilege. He's getting paid, he needs to act like a professional. He was pouting before the season started and you can tell he hasn't bought in at all this year. We're 4-5 and AJ has contributed to that record. He's dropped a ton of balls, fumbles, PI calls, etc...

For 12 years he has been part of the limited success the Texans have had and at the same time he has contributed to the failures. Why AJ gets a pass I don't know. Everyone else gets called out but AJ continues to get a pass. Maybe that is why we suck as a sports town, we don't hold everyone accountable.

I hope BOB calls his ass out. AJ isn't the typical WR diva, he's a baby. AJ put a stink on this season before it even began. Taking over a 2-14 team is hard enough and then AJ does BOB no favors with that offseason stunt making it even more difficult for BOB.

Fan of the Texans or AJ?

Because if you're a fan of the Texans keeping a 15 million dollar WR who is not producing hurts your team.

Wait till JJ shuts it down and starts just going through the motions. You can only give your all for a loser for so long.

Didn't make it past the first post.

Why would you assume he wants to be traded?

Why would you assume to know anything that he thinks?

As Long as Dre wants to be here, I would keep him here. Also as long as he is here I would constantly be looking to find him a Top flight QB that can throw him the ball. Even if it meant running thru different QB's every 2 years.

Considering the effort he's given this season, we should trade him to a crap team like the Bucs/Jets and let him lose somewhere else. He would be addition by subtraction at this point - sad considering he is the greatest offensive texan of all time to date

Would be too hard to see him in another jersey! Much less winning a Super Bowl in another jersey! Couldn't do it!

I hope someone calls out O'Brien and tell him to stop running up and down the sidelines like a crazy man and stop making those foolish faces. He looks like a dumb azz...

AJ is saving himself for next year...

Andre Johnson has been absolutely bad this year. Dropping passes, running bad routes, and not attacking the ball in the air as he used to. Andre Johnson has shown us excellence as a WR throughout his stellar career here in Houston...what he is doing now resembles nothing remotely close to his optimal performance. Andre needs to pick up his game effort. If Steve Smith can ball out at the age of 35, Andre can as well. Hoping that Eagles player was just BS'ing, but i dont feel good about those comments.

AJ was pis'd off during the off-season and wanted out.... I think it's funny how people expected him to show up and give his all. You hardly ever see players who go through an off-season dispute and don't get what they want show up and ball out... Especially receivers.

I was at the game and Dre is definitely frustrated and it shows out on the field.

A couple of times when Fitz was close to getting sacked, Dre would stop on the plays. Once Fitz broke out and was looking for an open receiver, Dre wouldn't fight to get open would just stand there covered. One time Fitz threw it to him anyway and it ended up being out of bounds even though a wide open Damarous Johnson was running in the middle of the field and Dre was essentially double covered and not moving towards the ball with any fight.

Dre has been pretty terrible this year, if he keeps just going through the motions without really trying, we probably need to bench him for someone who will actually try.

what a **** interview, again the cowardly media in houston gives aj a pass. foster gives them an easy target and the cowardly media kill him. fans booed schaub and then cheered for the backup, the same cowardly media killed the fans.

why is aj left off the hook? why isn't he held accountable? everything in this town sports related has a stench on it including the media. the only glimmer of hope we have as fans are the rockets...

And what is the media supposed to do...? He's running his routes and he's doubled covered a lot. Are they suppose to jump on him for not coming up with balls Fitzpatrick is trying to hit him in the shin with...??? Lolzzzz...

Even if we think AJ is not giving his all, it's hard to accuse a wide receiver of slacking. Especially one who is 33 and in a new system with new coaches and a new quarterback (Fitzcraptrick)... That's enough for the media to lay off of him and keep their mouth shut.

Time to trade him and get something for him, he has lost a step anyway - sell at a decent point and get a decent return.

Maybe pick up Cousins in Washington?

Yea, Andre really sounds like a guy whose number 1 priority is to play out his contract next year with this team. His trade demand last off season was solely because he didn't want to be in the position he is in now. He will be remembered as a really good regular season receiver. No one outside of houston can tell you how he played in those playoff wins against Cincy.

What a shame for one of the few guys that does his business the right way.

Funny that he's complaining about us losing, considering he's the one who's lost us games with fumbles and poor route running

If any truth to this....might be the reason his effort has looked less then what we expect of AJ.
