Would you throw a huge offer for Kevin Love?

?

Do you make a run for Kevin Love?

  1. Yes, he's still a star player and will space the floor nicely.

i dont an end of his prime-dwight helping out more on defense. the season is lost so just wait for dmo to ge thealthy and see if he can pick up from last season where he was a legit stretch 4 btw, and bveing a 7 footer is ahuge advantage.

if the season is over, just wait for dmo. could get a much cheaper stretch 4 who can play defense and at 7 footer

oh yeah he will spread the floor nicely.. on both offense and defense..

on offense he will launch the 3 pointers..

on defense he will spread while the opponent attacking the rim.. :/

He'd still be a real nice fit. If the team is going to lead the league in three-point attempts we need some better-than-good shooters. We need elite shooters. Love wouldn't help with the defense problem, but at least we could probably keep Harrell.

I would rather trade for Anderson and Holliday, though -- spacing, shooting and some perimeter defense. I like the fact that Anderson played well alongside Dwight in Orlando.

This is the only post that's needed in this thread.

Kevin Love is a much worse Harden.

    Not even close

Love is just another flawed (one-way) player. Rebounding helps his defense, but it's still bad overall, and his range is barely passible at 36.3% career.

James and Love as your 2 or 3 best players equals no titles unless they're #2 and #3.

    Lowe:
    Kevin Love trade scenarios
    Denver will look
    Phoenix will look
Detroit - Ilyasova, KCP, Tolliver & 1st round pick

Thorpe: Beautiful trade. Brilliant move. Stan will build Orlando north. He needs a stretch four. He has a much more dynamic PG than he had in Orlando. ... Love is better than Rashard Lewis was then. If Cleveland gives Detroit what they need, that would be risky. It works on both sides. ... When LeBron was in Miami, I said they need to embrace the fast style with athletes everywhere. Miami had 3 of the greatest all-time athletes for their position. Cleveland doesn't quite have that. LeBron isn't the same but they need to be more athletic. I would look at athletes. Athletes need to chase & play with GS/SA.

To me, there is no answer in Houston that can work with James & Dwight there. They need to trade Dwight. They won't trade James. I like Dwight. James is the problem more than Dwight. They won't trade James. Houston has a ton of athletes & players. Very few make a lot of money. You need to find a way to get athletes & shooters and they have plenty of both. Go get a bunch of those guys. ... ... Houston getting Kevin Love, he was the perfect compliment to Howard, going back five years. He shoots threes, he moves the ball. I don't think Kevin Love will love it because Harden has the ball in his hands more than LeBron. Houston would be much, much better. Houston has a glut of talent. They have too many players. You can't play them all. They have so many different guys. Houston needs to move some people out and shrink the rotation. I don't know if they can make a deal that would work.

Love ain't going anywhere. The only way he gets dealt, is if Lebron loses in the Finals and there is some sort of dispute.

He needs more time to get comfortable with Irving, Lebron.

"We have a lot of things to get better at," Love said. "That's going to take a lot of guys looking themselves in the mirror and it all starts with our leader (James) over there and dwindles on down."

Yes I'd call him a cancer at this point

I think offensively Love has a great skillset to match the moreyball scheme. As others have said defensively hes a black hole.

If I were going to make a huge offer at anyone, it would be Ibaka from OKC.
With that being said he's not on the trading block, to my knowledge so it could never happen.
I would throw a future 1st, 2nd, any assets they wanted but I wouldn't trade Ariza Harden or Howard.

Ibaka and Howard in the paint? Good night league. Plus when Harden does a drive and kick he would have the option of Howard or Ibaka from range, who could then swing to Ariza. Who could then swing to Beverley I mean all those players knock down 3s at an acceptable-to-great clip.

Back to Love, Love can do that too! He can fit in that spot as well, but I think his role would be exactly what it is in Cleveland and my understanding is he doesn't like that role.

It should be noted than though he has eye-test defensive issues, his +/- has been positive every year except one.

Love would be better than howard.

    Howard,Jones and 1st. For Love,Mozgov would work.

Your looking at a 20-10 guy consistenly with james to build around, i say pull it. This could give us another 4-5 year window with love being 27.

We need to go after a Kyle Korver, JJ Reddick type, not a K Love type
