Yes. In a second. Even if he looks like a giant Howard Wolowitz.

For max money over more than 2 years? I would run away. Fast.

Since somebody else will give him more than that, heck no.

If he's willing to take a back-up job. Most likely not the same after the injury

Asik hasn't been shown himself to be often injured head case on several occasions and in game, so I will go with Omer over Andrew.

Seriously, Bynum is a trap of a player if you sign him long term.

    NO NO NO.

Do not touch Bynum. He's broken. He needs to go back to the drawing board, get his mechanics in order, and hope his knee damage isn't too bad already. We're probably talking months, maybe an NBA season of time off. If he doesnt do that, he'll keep having issues.

How about: 16 minutes of Bynum, 16 minutes of Asik, and 16 with both on the floor and Bynum at the 4. That would rock!

A trade would have to be Asik, we signed him to be a starter, and making him redundant would not only be a waste of our salary space but a giant **** you to him and his agent since he came here to be a starter.

As for developing his offensive game, whilst both require massive amounts of application, defense is effort and offense is talent, it's a lot harder to teach someone how to be a good scorer than the opposite.

That being said, i would like to point out I'd rather look at a few PFs as our solution to a low post/inside offense (and if MM develops, he's at best a small ball PF like Melo is playing) with Asik as the C

Bynum is has been injuried so much in his career, and I think Asik is a great pick-roll Center to have who can be very efficient at both rebounding and rim protection. I think the main focus rockets should be focus on is a PF upgrade, Kevin Love, Aldridge(both of them are too good to be true), Josh Smith(there is a chance if he demand the trade again.) are among the first choices, and second tier includes Millsap, big Al. Then the rockets can compete the 5-8 spots in West.

    not no, but hell no

signing Omer has nullified needing a Center, we should focus our attention on filling out more gaping holes, PF

Omer has a relatively healthy track record (knock on wood) Bynum has an oft-injured history

so um, hells no to Bynum aka Yao 2.0 (sorry Yao)

No. Besides, the Rockets are solid at the center position imo. Point guard. Now that's pretty shakey. Especially the starting point guard. I hate saying that.

If we can get him straight up for Royce White, I pull the trigger.
