I dont they they get it. The difference between Anderson at 20 and Anderson at vet min is huge. Hell I wish Chris Paul was 20 mil cheaper.

I love how everyone is defending Melo as if he hasn't been trash for years now. Oh what a joy to watch.

Not defending Melo as much as laughing at the idea of bringing Ryno back. If memory serves correctly, he was a much-maligned player while he was here, and there's no sense that this would change if he came back.

 

He was a huge part of the teams success the first 3/4 of the season. When he hits 30 footers at 40% it opens up the floor for Harden and Paul to drive and dish. The offensive efficiency makes up for his poor defense. The problem is he completely lost his shot and confidence at the end of the season. Combine that with his lack of defense and he is unplayable. If we could get first half of the season Anderson, I would be all for it, but I think he might be done.

What people don't understand is Melo is barely better than end of season Anderson. He is terrible on D, statistically worse than Anderson, and does not space the floor to open up Harden and CP3's game. The only thing he has going for him over Anderson is the mid range game which closes off the court to everyone else's game.

 

Anderson has a ton of responsibility here. He's got to be great, otherwise his haters wish him d.

Anderson is shooting 23% from 3 if you are mad at Melo what do you think of 33% FG and 23% from 3?

The argument here is you are expecting Scrubberson 2 yrs ago when he was somewhat decent thats not the case anymore.

 

People play differently on different teams. You guys look at stats and it doesnt tell the entire story. Ennis was shooting 50% from three but he does not fit on the Rockets. Stats will fool you. Im not saying he's Michael Jordan but he knows the system and plays well with Harden. At that price we see what he still has if nothing then we move on.
