OP was living under a rock. Forgive him for missing the first 9 threads(errr 3) on this very same subject. 3/27: 69% want a draft pick 4/7: 76% are happy the Rockets [almost] have a first round pick 4/6: 69% prefer a lottery pick Now 52% want to play Golden State.
We don't keep the pick anyway so bring on the embarrassment. Look at Covington, we could've used that guy behind Ariza & Harden instead of Brewer.
This season sucked. No if's, and's or but's. By going to the playoffs Les will see this as a success. He gets more money more money and more money. By not going to the playoff it becomes a different story. By hitting the playoffs, do you honestly think Morey will 'get in trouble'? Screw that pick, I just want Les to realize this team was boring as hell and something needs to be done. Sigh
I saw those but wanted to get people's opinion now that it's a sure thing we face the Warriors if we make the playoffs
Rockets won't win a single game playing GSW unless Curry goes out with an injury. And, even then, we probably won't win but chances increase.
Tomorrow I'm going to post a poll Are you glad we are in the playoffs or did you want the pick (or vice versa)
People who repeat this - How many games did you watch this season? Did you find yourself enjoying it? Did you want to see more of it?
This draft will be *generationally* bad. If this draft was generationally good, the 12th (or whatever pick) would be more tempting.
For those people that voted no playoffs, I wonder how many will want the playoffs if there was no lottery pick involved.
about 75 games about 50% Sure, I've learned to not throw the remote directly at the TV over the years.
I haven't seen anything that can convince that this team can beat the Warriors. Hell, the Warriors broke San Antonio's near record-breaking home record. Think about that.
I'm always down for some playoffs. Throw in a lineup of Bev-Harden-Ariza-Beasley-Smoove to counter the death squad and let's pray. If we can pull out a win or two against one of the greatest teams ever, I'll be satisfied.
