I've been grinnin for months now. So glad Kubiak and Schaub are gone.

I'll give you props for optimism though, I'm not built that way.

really? Just endured the worst season in the team's history. We know they were wrong about Schaub. Why continue to beat that dead horse?

What else is there to do while waiting for the draft? It's not like we don't have the pick of the litter?

Not really about optimism. It's about playing the odds.

It was worth a shot, and it didn't pan out. Life goes on.

Did you just claim that odds are Matt Schaub has a better chance of taking us to the SB than Peyton even given that they're both healthy?

Have you SEEN Peyton Manning play football games?:eek:

so after watching how much these title games are slugfests, are there any schaub supporters that still believe a prime schaub with the 2011 defense would have been good enough to win a super bowl.. i never saw it thats why i was on team #****schaub since 2009... prime schuab would have been destroyed by san frans defense and got humiliated by seattles secondary in that stadium.. guy was never a winner..

Of course Schaub in his priime would have been enough if the defense didn't fail him. Is that really a question? I mean if the defense allowed 40 points or whatever, then yeah, the Texans lose, but a prime Schaub was better than either QB in the late game.

lol, delusion. he would have been outmatched plain and simple both those defenses would have made him look like the bum he is.. you dudes got hyped on schaub putting up 27 ppg on teams like the browns, jags, titans, and dolphins.. both these defenses would have made him a nonfactor like he was in new england...

Lets face it, Schuab would have been a non factor at any point in his career vs these defenses

The fact anyone would take 6 years of Schaub for even just 1 year of mediocre Peyton Manning is the most ridiculous thing I ever saw or heard in Houston Texas. The whole media for the town fell for it, radio waves drank the Schaub/Kubiak koolaid and so did a large part of the Texans' fan base.

Broken down, no arm strength, medically dubious, old man Peyton is a million light years ahead of Schaub and most quarter backs in the league.

So stupid of the Texans not to go for it.
