Listen you may not like that it exists. But at the end its a real debate. Either way the OP simply asked would you be ok with it, and I as well as pretty much everybody said YES. Because like you I agree a championship is a championship. However, I personally would have no problem with admitting that there were favourable circumstances that aided my team get it (like star players missing from an opponent) IF that were the case this year. Like if OKC could knock off Warriors with no Steph in 1st or 2nd round. It's not mutually exclusive.

We put this team together to compete with the greatest team of all time. Not the Warriors minus Steph, KD, Klay or Draymond or any combination of the four. I will say beating them to lead to an inevitable sweep/5 game series in the finals would be amazing, as we'd have our first trophy since 95, but I can't say I'd be 100% satisfied with the victory. I don't want to give them an excuse to beef their roster up even more than it already is because if we win a chip no way LeBron or PG13 joins a title team to help us out. Yes, I'd be happy if we had an asterisk title. Yes, I'd much much much rather beat them when they're 100% healthy.
