If you ask "so and so" to be your best man at your wedding and he agrees. But he asks someone else (like another friend) to be his best man at his own wedding...would you be offended?
Of course not. Don't be juvenile. Once you're married, you're no one's BEST MAN. You're YOUR WIFE'S BEST MAN. Married people don't usually make good best men (only in movies). If I ask you to be my best man, be happy. If no, then don't act like a little high school girl and talk to other people about it.
I don't know. Sometimes, I wonder if I chose the right dude for Best Man. I'm much better friends today with some of the other cats in my wedding that wore the tuxes, than with the "Best Man." So did I blow the whole "Best Man" thingy? Beats the hell out of me, but maybe. My advice? Don't worry about it. Just know that your friend is happy marrying that chick. That's what counts. Long may he feel that way!
I'd bury my head in my pillow and cry for like days...........until someone brought me some ice cream.
If so and so didn't make me their best man after being best man at my wedding.. I'd make it my sole purpose in life to ruin his marriage.. oh and most likely by banging his wife  all jokes aside... no I wouldn't care nor be offended..
If it was my brother I'd be a little pissed but it isn't something I'd get into an argument over. If it was a friend then I wouldn't care in the least
I don't have a brother, and really don't have one best male friend either. This could be a problem when I do get married, but I assume my friends aren't little b****es and probably wouldn't give two ****znit
I'm curious to why there are 17 yes votes, but no one's replied saying they would be offended. I think a more damning situation would be if your best man didn't even invite you to the wedding.
I would go home, lye in bed in a fetal position, pull the covers over my head and gently weep for hours.
