I used to think he would fit our team well. He's a perfect fit next to Mcgrady where he can play off the ball and still guard the smaller player and he would take full advantage of all the attention Yao gets. ...but, with Mcgrady gone, i think this team needs more playmakers than scorers.
there's one thing that i always wanna tell Ron after him became a rocket "Ron, whip that smile from Jason Terry's face for me."
I have to do this again. I mean look at his cocky **** face when he plays us God, I HATE Jason Terry!!!
Easy there. I hate him as much as anyone but its the kind of hate that would turn to love if he's on your team... it's not of the Kirlienko / Okur type.
I'd take him. I've watched him a lot over the years, and he is incredibly quick and a very good shooter. I'd love to have him on my team. The Van Exel comparison is a good one.
Just our luck, he would sign a big contract to come here and tear his acl or some other season or career ending injury. Somehow, he would not be the same player for us as he is in Dallas.
I wonder if the people who wouldn't take Terry also balked on the idea of getting Mo Williams. His contract is nasty but good lord he would've been perfect next to McGrady (or any scoring wing). Great in the pick n roll but at the same time a great spot-up shooter. And above everything else....he's fearless. The dude takes and makes big shots.
Uh, yes. If, for no other reason...we should get him just so he can't play against us. Bench him, send him to elementary schools to teach kids to read, let him build playgrounds, whatever, just don't let him play against us. Also, he's not a bad player...I didn't exactly love Ron Artest before he came to Houston, you learn to love 'em... Jason Terry: Yes, if it's a good deal.
