A very curious thought - Would MJ have drafted Yao Ming if WAS had the #1 pick this year, or if Yao had been allowed to enter the draft last year?

If he can draft Brown, then I do not see why he would draft Ming.

Tough one to call. MJ was interested in both Jay Williams and Yao Ming.

I think MJ would have gone with Jay Williams. He really coveted the guy.

After taking Kwame Brown the year before, I think Jordan may have felt some pressure to take Jay Williams and play it safe. If Yao came out earlier, I think Jordan may well have taken him over Kwame.

No, but Yao wouldn't have drafted MJ either.
