Kyrie hasn't even been the best player on the Celtics so far this year, that has been Horford. Any Celtics fan will tell you that.

Media is so eager to give it to anyone but Harden I wouldn't be shocked though. I'm sure they'll change the "requirements" this year and not give it to him. If they give it to Kyrie with his much, much worse stats I'd be pretty pissed.

Who cares at this point? Harden is the best basketball player on the planet right now.

    Let that sink in.

Harden has consistently been a top 5 performer during the regular season for the past 5 years with the Rockets. His issue will always be that some folks like his game, and a lot of folks dont. The only way to address this is following the blue print set by another Houston team and their newly crowned MVP...Jose Altuve. Be the best player in the playoffs and recognition will come.

Harden has already been robbed of 2 mvp's so it wouldn't shock me If the dumbass media took a third from him this year. The guy pretty much has to win 70 games and average 50 ppg to win it I guess.

Lol, there is NO WAY Irving is leading the mvp race. Barkley doesn't understand basketball.

Some ESPN genius just now on coast to coast when asked if Harden is who he is looking at as the early MVP....

“I’m looking at him and Kyrie... blah blah blah”

    It has begun.

Do people just support Kyrie as a way to hate on LeBron?

I pretty much stopped caring about the MVP race after the last two seasons. It's all about wins and a chip now.

Imagine Houston having the reigning champs and MVPs in two sports at the same time.

    I can dream.

I like the idea but it seems like for Harden that the MVP trophy is made of unobtanium.

Nothing would please the OP more than for Kyrie (or anyone not named "Frauden" Harden) to win it.

"See, I told you T-Mac is better than Frauden! Frauden can't even beat out Kyrie Irving (or whoever wins it) for MVP! Frauden keeps taking them "L"s - in the playoffs, and got beat out by Curry, Westbrook & Irving for MVP the last 3/4 years.. And no he was not snubbed. They were more deserving than Frauden. Fraud. Fraud. Fraud. James Frauden."
