Even if Harden's ceiling was Manu Ginobili, that's already enough reason to keep him forever and ever. They even had a Spurs template to go off of, smh.

I wonder what Westbrook would look like if Harden never left and the trio would still be together, today.

An in-control, efficient Westbrook would be pretty damn great.

I'm still amazed they didn't just eat the few million for the luxury tax. It's still a questionable move, nowadays. KD, Harden, and K-Mart teams is still pretty formidable.

Amazingly, these three are still one of the more talented trios in NBA history. In a sense, where you have 3 guys who are literally MVP caliber players. Basically, three players who can average over 25 ppg on any given night and create their own offense. Also, in and nearing their prime.

We recently had the Nets, as well as the two Lebron teams (2014 Cavs/2010 Heat) and the Dubs with KD, Curry, and Thompson. Perhaps, Milwaukee, LA Lakers (2004/2012).

Even, historically, it's not too many teams that can make this claim. I know you had Baylor, West, and Chamberlain. I know the Knicks and Celtics had some sickening rosters.

If Westbrook pushed his game in that direction, because ideally he'd have to be off the ball more times than no, while Beard runs most of the offense.
