Manu in his prime was the second best SG in the game, most would have traded tmac straight up for him so yes. Jason Terry, come on man that's not a good comparison.
this will allow for more touches for Harden/Durant, who are more efficient than WB (plus they can't afford all 3 and Ibaka anyway) then sign Nash to replace Westbrook Nash Harden Durant Ibaka #2 pick
I would give him max money but I just wonder if his speed with his body type can hold up as he ages. He can get away with it now since he young, but he looks like a full back.
His body type reminds me a lot of Brandon Roy.. its like he has Manu Ginobili's skillset in a Brandon Roy type of body.
I hope they keep Harden so we have a small chance at landing Ibaka, the only elite shot blocking center who can even come close to the 90s greats.
Harden is a damn good SG but without someone to assist him, that sort of money is wasted. He is star level talent, not superstar. Westbrook maybe, Durant without a doubt but Harden while I see OKC valuing him over Westbrook for his defense is not a MAX contract guy for what he brings on the court.
Ok I probably shouldn't put words in other peoples mouths, but I wouldhave made that deal. Manu. Had similar all around tools as Tmac but with enough mental and physical toughness for both of them.
Right. But how long was his prime? Was his period of "prime" worth a max? Can a team led by Manu, without TD and TP and the like, win? Why wasn't he paid max?
A reporter asks Westbrook in post-game interview "Is Harden a max player." lol <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wxXGGCd9Msc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ibaka is a pf, but also plays center... And for all hos boneheadedness McGee is the lone elite shot blocking center... if he wasnt as dumb as a rock hed be a mutumbo type shotblocker...
