I've seen some pretty gruesome soccer injuries and sports injuries-Henrik Larsson and Eduardo's broken legs as well as Joe Theismans but this one takes the cake for me. http://www.marca.com/2009/05/28/futbol/futbol_internacional/1243498394.html Just nasty.
That was pretty freaking terrible. His leg just snapped and crumbled like a twig. I still cringe the most when I see the Shaun Livingston play though, out of all the worst sports injuries... that is one I just can't watch.
Doesn't really seem worse than other leg snapping injuries I've seen. At least with this one it was obvious why it happened. Most of the time it just seems to crumble for no apparent reason. The guy at 38 seconds was not laughing at all...
they covered the guy like a dead man. the guy should have apologized to the man instead of feeling bad that he got the red card.
Didn't bother me too much. But then again, I see the aftermaths of injuries like this every so often. Just had a 7 year old that looked that bad, or possibly worse this week. It was his arm though...

At least he didn't die. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZFR70zIIwO4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZFR70zIIwO4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Same here although this incident from the Beijing Olympics made me stop breathing for about five minutes when I first saw it. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/i5XZVc6rypQ&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/i5XZVc6rypQ&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I had to stop the video after they showed the replay.. omg That is definately one of if not the worst sports injury i've seen. Feel for the guy
X-ray tech for now. Will be furthering my career off of that down the line. But I get to see all sorts of cool stuff like this.
aftermaths don't bother me either. I've seen heads crushed, limps dismembered , etc....doesn't bother me at work. But watching it happen is what makes me cringe. Aftermath is nothing.
I agree with you there, aftermaths really aren't much. Trauma doesn't really bother me though. Unless it's a kid or someone I'm close to. Phlegm bothers me.
