Yes, he contributed to the Rockets '95 championship but I'll always remember this stat shown about him during the Finals:

    Career Fouls > Career Points

As Bill Walton said during the moment, "Now that's embarrassing."

    :)

The current team are the worst Rockets ever! So much unrealized potential. They are the ultimate underachievers.

Buck did not suck. Although he did fail to meet the expectations of many fans.

During the 89-90 season, buck averaged almost 15 pts 5 reb and 3 ast per game, and his shooting percentage was 49.46%. Bucks career shooting percentage as a Rocket was 48.86%.

Buck was capable of spectacular plays and had some big nights, but he seemed to lack the confidence that all star players must have. Buck was frustrating to watch because it seemed like he was capable of so much more.

you think that was bad, pig miller and matt bullard once started THE SAME GAME! i fail to see how that was not the worst starting pf/c combo in nba history. don't get me wrong, i love bull (and pig too), but damn. and this is the 99 version of bull so he was slower than usual. happened b/c hakeem, barkley, rogers, cato, and massenburg were injured and thomas hamilton had just been kicked off the team. has any team ever lost their top 6 pf's and c's all at once like that?

while i'm not old enough to pull up really unbelievably bad guys like some of you, my list would be:

    pg: moochie from last year
sg: shadn andersn (i'm sure someone worse started here but i hate him so on the list he goes)
    sf: langhi
pf: pig miller (started as a C but he moves over for curley, i bet pig could suck as a pf too, did hustle though)
    c: curley

rockbox probably wanted regular starters only, but it's too late to think so that's my list.

Matt Maloney in 98-99 REALLY sucked :
    1.4 ppg
    1.4 apg
    0.7 rpg
    0.27 spg
    0.179 fg%
    3 pointers : 1-15 (0.067%)

and he made that while playing 12.4 mpg (compare with Antoine Carr's 2.6 ppg and 1.7 rpg in 8.4 mpg the same season : twice Maloney's stats in less playing time).

Maloney had good moments in 96/97 and 97/98 but he REALLY sucked in 98/99. Maybe one of the worst season ever achieved by any rocket player. And he wasn't even a good defender !!!
